At North Raleigh Family Medicine, we consider ourselves to be partners in our patient's healthcare. Our focus is to teach patients how to take care of themselves and be able to maximize their potential. Using both traditional "modern medicine" techniques and "holistic" techniques, North Raleigh Family Medicine is unique in it's approach to patient care. Frequently, chronic medical conditions are not as effectively addressed by modern techniques but are quite well addressed by holistic medicine. And, there are other conditions that require advanced techniques and highly specialized treatments. These can be directly addressed in our office or referred to specialists. North Raleigh Family Medicine is a full service medical practice supporting the whole family's medical needs from newborn to elderly.

Founding Physician, Dr. Thomas L. Jeffries

As the founding practitioner in the practice, Dr. Thomas L. Jeffries takes an active interest in every patient's analysis and treatment. Dr. Jeffries' professional career has spanned more than 20 years. From his early 1980's work with the Peace Corps in Zaire, to his community health and emergency room experience, to founding and growing his current private practice, North Raleigh Family Medicine; Dr. Jeffries has a demonstrated track record of caring for people. Dr. Jeffries is Board Certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and by the American Board of Holistic Medicine. Additionally, he has special certifications in Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Advanced Trauma Life Support. He has also been an instructor in Cardiac Life Support.
